This year's program features Liam Connell of the Patriotic Millionaires discussing economic inequality and the reforms needed to build an economy that works for everyone. The event will also feature a conversation between Cara Hendrickson, Executive Deputy Attorney General of Illinois, and Professor Sharon Fairley on federal accountability, civil rights, and the rule of law.

Together, these discussions will explore some of the most important legal, economic, and civic challenges facing our communities today.

Yesterday, David Melton, Acting Executive Director of the Chicago Council of Lawyers, attended the swearing-in ceremony for the new Circuit Court of Cook County Associate Judges. 

Through its judicial evaluation work, CCL remains committed to promoting fair, qualified, and accountable judges who uphold the rule of law and serve the public with integrity.
