You are cordially invited to attend ICE Enforcement in Illinois: Challenge to Civil Rights and Access to Courts, an interdisciplinary seminar sponsored by the Chicago Appleseed Fund for Justice, the Chicago Council of Lawyers, and the Illinois Legal Services Committee.
The seminar will address government policies and procedures that exist for ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency) arrests of non-citizens appearing in Illinois’ civil and criminal courts. Practitioners from the field of immigration and civil rights law will discuss the practical and legal impact of arrests in the courthouse, in the workplace, and in the community.
Lawyers licensed in Illinois will receive 2.5 hours general CLE credit.
